Promotes bile production and secretion3

Artichoke extract can be recommended in case of abdominal stress, especially those attributable to fat issues. After artichoke leaf extract administration, bile secretion optimized significantly, in particular at 30, 60 and 90 minutes but still at 120 and 150 minutes the volume of bile remains stable.
After 30 minutes a rise of 127.3% is observed, after 60 minutes 151,5%, and after 90 minutes, 94.3%, each in relation to the initial value.

Reduces abdominal stress1

Artichoke leaf extracts can be effective inrelieving abdominal challenge. In 279 participants with abdominal discomforts administrated with artichoke leaf extract for 6 weeks, stresses significantly decreases compared to baseline. Furthermore, 96% of participants rate artichoke leaf extracts better than previous remedies administered for their stress, with a very good tolerability of the extract.
