PA2 (Proanthocyanidin A2) is a molecule present in the bark of the Horse Chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum) branches. It has potent antienzymatic activity (mainly anti-elastase and anti-collagenase), is a free radical scavenger and also normalizes impaired capillary permeability and fragility.
