Biagio Alberto della Beffa prize 2023: Indena proud to celebrate the prize’s second edition awarding three young researchers during the closing ceremony of the ISSPN

On the occasion of the second edition of the biennial prize dedicated to the memory of its founder Biagio Alberto Della Beffa, Indena is proud to announce that three young researchers in the fields of Chemists and Pharmaceutical Chemists have been awarded for their competences, passion and results in in Natural Product Chemistry.

The award ceremony took place at Maratea on July 6^th, 2023 as the pinnacle event in closing the 5th edition of the International Summer School on Natural Products.

The winners have been selected by a commission composed by Indena managers and ISSNP directors.

The eligible candidates were 16 out of 26 applicants ranging from Chemists, Pharmacists to Pharmaceutical Chemists from Italian and foreign Universities. All of them showed high-level competences, strong determination for scientific career and passion for natural products.

The winners have been awarded a cheque of 5.000,00 €, a paid six month internship at Indena’s R&D center and a managerial training at one of the most prestigious Italian universities.

The internship, together with the managerial learnings, will give the opportunity for a personal growth in industrial research and in general management.

Once more, the prize shows the commitment of Indena in supporting young researchers and celebrates a closer collaboration between Industry and Academia.
